Why do I want a copy?  So I can be in better shape with Win7 than Vista, where I had a few starts/stops/restarts.

Where am I?  Raleigh, NC.

What else would I want to say?  "Thanks, Andrew, for the giveaway and the continuous information and advice."

I've only played with Win 7 RC/RTM sparingly. Decided to wait for my free upgrade copy and proper drivers/utilities from HP. So, I'd love to have a copy to help get me up to speed quickly.

With 4 systems already running Win 7 and a growing interest in Media Centre, I think your book is a must. Here's hoping….

Why would I like a copy of Andrews' new book,

wait a minute now just let me see,

It's a cert I will upgrade to seven,

for at the moment I'm still on XP.

And having insider info is crucial,

from the man who here acts as our host

and he wrote with such fervor, about windows home server

That he's bound to know far more than most.

From near Stirling in Scotland.

I am currently studying to take the 70-680 Configuring Windows 7 Cert for Microsoft. This would make studying for the cert a lot easier.

I am the Redmond, Wa area. Just a few minutes from the Microsoft Campus!!!

Why do I want a copy of your book? Well I feel like ever since I joined the military I have lost the "tech" scene and I am trying to get back into it. Hell my desktop still runs an Athalon Barton 3200+ (yeah that old) I feel with the struggle I had learning to navigate vista this would help me get a head start on windows 7 and it would help me get back into the scene.

Where am I? Deployed to Southwest Asia in support of OIF/OEF. Stationed out of South Dakota.

I am the Windows 7 SIG leader of our local user group. Your book would be a big help in assisting people as they move to Windows 7.

Hi Andrew,

Why do I want a copy of Windows 7 Tweaks, Tips and Tricks…

Well let start by telling you about my environment.  I have a small house that I remodel.  During the remodel, I drop two sets of bundle cable into each room.  Each bundle cable is two cat 5e and two RG6 cables.  In one of my closets, I put the distribution panel for all the cables.  I put two Cisco 1131 WAP on each end of the house for wireless access.  I build my first WHS with Tivo Publisher to support my Tivos that are network.  We use laptops in docking stations running XP to stream audio to bedrooms.  I am late to the party on Windows 7. I have not test or moved to Windows 7 yet.  But, I have heard that Windows 7 is GREAT for multimedia stuff.  I am in the process of building my second WHS with PP3.  The server will have 12 TB of disk space to support all the MP3, DVD and anything else I can through at it.  I am interested in PP3 TV archiving feature with Windows 7.   I would love to have a copy of your book to help me push Windows 7 to the limits.

 Thank for listing,

 Gary

I am running close to the wire on closing if GMT.  I am a big fan of WHS.  It collects from the 5 computers around the house and frees me from worrying about backups.  I just discovered this forum.  I am fairly up about Win 7 and am in the process of converting my two computers capable of supporting it.  The 32 bit notebook is mostly done and the 64 bit is in preparation.  I am quite taken with the libraries, since they elimitate the need for junctions, links and the like to move and keep personal files off of the system drive.

I am retired after 43 years in the information industry. I have been, and still am, called upon to anwser questions or assist others in troubleshooting software problems. When I was employed I had ready access to a multitude of reference resources. Now I find those resources have become less available reesulting from both a lack of access and funds due to newly limited finacial resources. Thus, I am always looking for bargains with which I can maintain my reputation as the man with the anwsers…..LOL.  Obviously, I still enjoy working with computer hardware, software, networks, etc. Your book would assist me greatly in my efforts.
