This weekly post is five screen shots of Windows Media Center with a CableCARD tuner to get you excited about Windows Media Center and Windows Home Server.
I have a cable card tuner in my WIn 7 Aopen ePC home built media center PC as well. I started with an internal card from cannon pc and it died. After contacting cannon, they gladly and very quickly replaced it. I went ahed and paid the $30 extra to get an external unit. I cannot say enough about the great service that I got from Cannon PC.
I love my ATI tuner and have not had any issues with the system. If it was not for the “one ATI tuner to one Tuning Adapter” then I would have got the internal one as a second tuner.
Cannon was great too. I would suggest to anyone looking to buy one that they sign up for Cannons newsletter first and see if they send a discount coupon!
