  1. Watch out for that smoke monster :-)

  2. What kind of cable card tuner did you buy?

  3. I bought an external ATI Digital Cable Tuner from Canon PC.

Sign up for the newsletter and they usually send you a coupon for a discount.

Dell also has an internal model if you are comfortable working inside the PC and buy your own cables.

Do not forget to verify your cable company has CableCARDs available before you consider buying.

Also check out our other articles on Ceton and HDHomeRun CableCARD tuners available this summer.

  4. I have a cable card tuner in my WIn 7 Aopen ePC home built media center PC as well. I started with an internal card from cannon pc and it died. After contacting cannon, they gladly and very quickly replaced it. I went ahed and paid the $30 extra to get an external unit. I cannot say enough about the great service that I got from Cannon PC.

  5. I love my ATI tuner and have not had any issues with the system. If it was not for the “one ATI tuner to one Tuning Adapter” then I would have got the internal one as a second tuner.

Cannon was great too. I would suggest to anyone looking to buy one that they sign up for Cannons newsletter first and see if they send a discount coupon!
