Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Personally I havent had any problems at all with PerfectDisk.

Have you tried contacting PerfectDisk to talk to them about your particular issue?

PerfectDisk 10 is terrible. I just let it run a full ‘SMARTPlacement’ and it substantially decreased my drive performance and increased my free space fragmentation.

Stats:
Vista x64
8GB DDR2 Ram
All nonessential background programs were shut down during this run.

If you need proof, check these links:

This program is ridiculously awful. I had such a horrific experience with this program that I’m placing this review on multiple sites.

This has been one of the best pieces of software I have ever used in terms of simplicity and functionality. To top it off with great service and customer care I can honestly say I am happy with my purchase.

Personally I use Diskeeper ..(Latest edition.. whatever it is) HomeServer Edition. I use it for its little to no interference on day to day usage. But then again, PerfectDisk and Diskeeper are almost the same product excluding some behavioral differences.

Excellent review. I have been a PerfectDisk user since the first beta of the product and have been totally satisfied. I cannot emphasize enough the need for a WHS-aware product as opposed to the free alternatives available that are not WHS-aware.

I have not been running mine continuously recently as the changes to the data on my WHS have been minimal but I do still schedule it to run monthly. (And when I start updating files more regularly I will change it back!)

Great user interface, works well.
