  1. Is WHS just a testing platform in which to release “beta” products?

It should be obvious to everyone in how F-Secure Home Server Security Beta 1 was full of bugs, 59588, 59678, 59748, 59808, 59824, 59826, 59958, 59964, 59965, 59993, 60001, 59725, 59742, 59686 and 59986. Meaning, this is a good reason why NOT to install and use “Beta” software on production machines.

I would add, that when a world leader in software having released WHS last year still remains with their own proven design data corruption flaw (KB 946676) that surely it demonstrates to everyone just how Window Home Server remains unfinished to be completed and is why WHS is still not ready for the public to purchase at this time.

  2. The whole point of a beta is to find the bugs and get rid of them. No one should ever expect a beta, especially a beta 1 product to be bug free. I have been running the beta and I havent experienced any problems so far – same for beta 2.

As for the corruption bug, this will be fixed in Power Pack 1 which will be released shortly.
